Sprites are sticking around. Fortnite’s Treasure Hunters mini season launched today, Sprites have come along for the voyage, and the Field Guide now has a whole new season tab with 13 new Sprites to collect.

A new tab: C7 MS

You’ll find a third season tab, C7 MS, sitting next to C7S3 (Runners) and C7S4 (Override). It opens by default for new players. Your Override collection stays under the C7S4 tab exactly as you left it, and your saved backups still restore.

Meet the Treasure Hunters crew

Here are the 13 new Sprites and what each one does:

  • Halfpeel’d (Rare): marks eliminations on the map.
  • Re-Pete (Rare): faster reloads, with a chance that reloading refunds ammo.
  • Barry O’Fish (Rare): less tactical sprint stamina drain in water, plus Slap at max level.
  • Wayfinder (Rare): reveals nearby Sprites and gives more items from Buried Chests.
  • Chester (Epic): a chance of extra loot from Treasure Chests, and no fall damage.
  • Exmarks (Epic): reveals Treasure Maps and Wanted Posters, and spawns a Treasure Map at max level.
  • Kelper (Epic): restores health over time while you’re in water.
  • Lil’ Squibbly (Epic): jump into a fishing hole to fish it and get bonus loot.
  • Lil’ Flacko (Legendary): landing creates a small shockwave that knocks back enemies.
  • Lil’ Uzi Vert Jr. (Legendary): restoring shields sets off a Chug Splash effect.
  • Transponder Snail (Legendary): extra resources on pickup, with a share for teammates who have it equipped too.
  • Plundarrgh (Mythic): opening a Chest boosts your pickaxe and movement speed.
  • Sweet Dreams (Mythic): a random item at each level, exploding with Mythic loot at max level.

Fortune and Cursed variants

The mini season has its own variants. Each new Sprite comes in Base, Fortune and Cursed. Fortune reveals nearby Chests. Epic hasn’t published the Cursed perk yet, so the app shows “Unknown perk at the moment” until it does, and we’ll update it as soon as we know.

Transponder Snail and Sweet Dreams are Base only for now, which makes 35 to collect in all. Mastery tracking is switched on for the new season too, and your share images have their own badges for Fortune and Cursed.

A treasure map at night

The pumpkin orange and midnight purple have been packed away. The app now looks like a treasure map by moonlight: deep ocean navy, brass gold headings, sea teal buttons and parchment cream text. The header has a new night sea chart with a dashed treasure route, gold glints that twinkle like light catching coins, and Chester, Lil’ Flacko, Plundarrgh, Exmarks and Barry O’Fish lined up across the top. Rarity and variant colours haven’t changed, so they still mean what you’re used to.

What’s on this week

The Events Calendar has cleared out the last of Season 4 and lined up the first week of Treasure Hunters:

  • Captain’s Day, Sunday 1 November, 2pm UK (9am ET): the first of five November content drops, bringing Luffy’s Gum-Gum Fruit, Zoro’s Three Sword Style and A$AP Rocky’s Shock Rocket.
  • Mastery Monday, Monday 2 November, from 2pm UK (9am ET): 2x Sprite XP and Dust, plus more Sprite Chests and Wanted Posters on Crossbones Isle. Wanted Posters now turn into Sprite Treasure Maps that lead to buried Sprite Chests.
  • Captain’s Day, Saturday 7 November: time to be announced.

We’ll add the remaining Captain’s Days as soon as Epic dates them.
