St Werburgh’s Park, Rosemary, and The Limes have worked together as the Central Bristol Nursery Schools Federation for years, but had never shared a visual identity. Each school had its own hand-drawn logo, full of character, but none had ever been turned into a proper vector file, so the artwork pixelated whenever it needed to scale.
What We Did
We designed CBNSF a single federation-wide logo, working closely with all three school teams throughout. The new mark carries a piece of each school’s original artwork, the children from St Werburgh’s Park, the shape from Rosemary, and the tree from The Limes, set within a Bristol balloon-inspired palette and hand-drawn linework that echoes the warmth of the originals. It was built to sit alongside the CBNSF website we designed the year before, and to hold up cleanly at any size, from a favicon to signage.
The Result
Over the summer, Signs Now installed the new signage across all three nursery school sites. Three schools, one shared identity, and a logo built from their own history.
