At Kapow! Comic Con last weekend, we announced the next chapter in our transmedia series, Timedancer. The next instalment, the events of which run alongside the events from the first two episodes, might surprise our fans with an interesting take on an old format.
The Lawson File, launching next week, takes on a different format from Episodes 1 and 2. The Lawson File is a game book, in the vein of the old Choose Your Own Adventure books from the 1980s, and we’re bringing it to the Amazon Kindle! It’s written by George Heritage with Timedancer co-creator, Ari Abraham.
A desperate single mother siphons funds from a mysterious company. A cyber-security specialist finds out, but is silenced and loses his job. A mourning widower tries to track down the people who killed his wife.
The lives of these three people collide and it all seems to link back to a secretive company called The Timedancer Corporation.
Taking the form of a "choose your own adventure" game book, Timedancer: The Lawson File is an explosive companion to the acclaimed Windows Phone sci-fi series.
Fans of the series will see the story unravel in a familiar universe and recognise characters from the series, but the book serves as a standalone adventure too and as a great introduction to the Timedancer universe.
