We have been honoured to work on many early-year education projects in Bristol and the wider area in recent years. In addition to our ongoing work with the Bristol Early Years Teaching Hub and the Bristol and Beyond Stronger Practice Hub, including website development and design and working on their logos and branding, we recently collaborated with Bristol City Council on their Let’s Talk Bristol logo and branding.
Our latest collaboration with the Bristol Early Years Teaching Hub and Bristol City Council is a new logo for their Eight to Relate programme, which launched recently.
The Eight to Relate programme is an innovative approach designed to enhance the emotional well-being of children within early years settings. Developed by a team of Early Years Local Specialist Leaders in Bristol, this programme is a testament to the city’s commitment to fostering a nurturing environment for its youngest members. The initiative is grounded in the understanding that humans are inherently social beings who thrive on connection and interaction. Recognising the profound impact of relationships on brain development and emotional health, Eight to Relate offers a comprehensive audit tool to support children’s emotional well-being.
We worked closely with the team to develop a logo that resonates with the programme’s core values. The fluid and organic octagonal logo represents the eight pillars of the Eight to Relate programme: a sense of belonging, supporting behaviour, environments and routines, transitions, developing emotional literacy, curriculum, leadership, and staff wellbeing.
Through our partnership with the Eight to Relate programme, we’re proud to contribute to a future where every child and educator can thrive in an atmosphere of empathy and understanding.
