We’re pleased to announce that Zombies Ate My City version 1.2 has been released for download.

The feedback since our release has been phenomenal, and we’ve now hit over 7,500 downloads.

We’re busy working on some great new features coming to the app in April, but in the meantime version 1.2 addresses user feedback.

Fire ZombieBrand new news hub
We’re keen to build up our community and, with some great new features coming next month, we want to keep our users informed as to what we’re working on.  We’ve revamped the news section to pull in the latest news from our web site so we can keep in touch all day long.  And, using the feedback button, you can keep in touch with us too!

Memory/battery improvements
Improvements to the efficiency of the app… The last thing we want is for your battery to die when you’re in the middle of killing a massive, salivating zombie.  We’ve made some massive changes in this area with version 1.2 which will make ZAMC a lot more efficient.

Bug fixes
We’ve identified a bug that would impact the zombie-killing section of the app after resuming the app (if, for example, you dipped out for a minute to go text a zombie).  This issue has been fixed.

This is all in addition to our 1.1 update which includes a new tutorial and a bunch of other improvements!

Existing users should see version 1.2 in the marketplace under “updates” soon.

As always, keep your feedback coming – you can reach us from within the app, or via feedback@zombiesatemycity.com – we’re already working on some great additions for version 1.3.

attackEarth6A note for Windows Phone users in non-English markets…

Zombies Ate My City is available, at the moment, in countries where English is the primary language (including the UK, USA, Australia, Ireland, Canada and others). We’re also striving to get Zombies Ate My City working in other regions that are currently not supported. This, for us, is a big task as we need to work on translations, and with making sure that Bing Maps is supported in these regions and that there is enough data for the levels to work. It’s a bit of a process but we are committed to getting Zombies Ate My City out to as many Windows Phone users as possible! So, stick with us – it’s something we are working on!
