Building on our successful partnership with St Werburgh’s Park Nursery School, we’ve designed and developed a new federation website bringing together three exceptional early years settings under one unified digital platform.
Project Highlights
Working closely with Acting Head Teacher Rachel Barnwell and her team, we created a website that celebrates each school’s unique identity whilst showcasing their shared commitment to early years education. The Central Bristol Nursery Schools Federation comprises The Limes Nursery School (serving Whitehall’s diverse community for 40 years), Rosemary Nursery School (Bristol’s oldest nursery dating back to the 1920s), and St Werburgh’s Park Nursery School (built in 1931 as an open-air nursery inspired by pioneer Margaret McMillan).
The platform features dedicated pages for each nursery school, allowing parents and carers to access the latest news, photographs, and updates specific to their child’s setting. We’ve built comprehensive accessibility features into the website architecture, including translation capabilities that allow content to be accessed in multiple languages – crucial for Bristol’s multicultural families.
The design emphasises community connection through regular news updates, beautiful photography showcasing the vibrant learning environments, and integration with their new Facebook page. The website acts as both an information hub and community connector, supporting transparent communication between the schools and families.
We continue to support the federation with ongoing content management, posting news and updates on behalf of their team, and collaborating on new site features as their digital needs evolve.
