We’re proud to have launched the new website for Bristol’s Maintained Nursery Schools, celebrating nearly a century of exceptional early years education across the city. Building on our decade-long partnership with these outstanding schools, beginning with St Paul’s Nursery School over ten years ago, we worked closely with headteachers across all twelve schools to create a unified digital platform. The aim was to bring the nursery schools together, spread the word about their outstanding work, and showcase what makes Bristol’s Maintained Nursery Schools so special and unique in the early years landscape.
The website thoughtfully balances collective strength with individual personality, allowing families to discover their closest school while exploring what makes each setting unique, from school finder functionality to clear information about free and funded childcare options. We ensured that each school retains its distinct identity, showcasing its values and approaches while presenting its shared vision. The platform also includes comprehensive job listings and easy interest registration, supporting both families seeking exceptional early years education and educators wanting to join these remarkable teams.
